People Matter: Teams, contrary to popular belief, are comprised of actual, physical, human beings who have passions, gifts, weaknesses, and a life outside of work. I start by getting to know each person, how they operate, and their goals (and . . . what's getting in the way of those goals).
Operationalizing work in a sustainable way: Next, I assess what's causing project delays or confusion. Usually there are many symptoms, but only a few key root issues. Once the root issues are identified and addressed, then the process can be more quickly streamlined.
Delivering projects that produce meaningful outcomes: Managing projects, priorities, new requests, and unexpected life stuff requires the right tools, yes, but it also requires a team that trusts each other, has clear roles and responsibilities, an efficient (and flexible!) collaboration process.
